Voted The Favorite Rose In The World
New Dawn Climbing Rose is cherished globally for its masses of beautiful buds that open to soft pink, 3″ velvety flowers. Flowers first appear in early summer and then repeat throughout the season. The disease-resistant, glossy green foliage always looks terrific. Easy and carefree, it can be used as a climber, shrub, or be grown up into trees. It tolerates poor soil and light shade.
Voted The Favorite Rose In The World in 1997 at the World Convention of Rose Societies. New Dawn was introduced in 1930 and is still considered one of the best. New Dawn Rose was the first plant to be patented.
Plant in full sun in soil that has been amended with compost. Add a starter fertilizer when planting such as Espoma Biotone to get your Rose off to a fast start. Fertilizing will produce more flowers, we recommend organic Rose Tone. For maximum flower production keep well watered. New Dawn will tolerate more shade than most roses, but for best flower production give New Dawn as much light as possible.
