Prunus – Red Haven Peach Tree
You’ll enjoy peaches earlier in the season with Red Haven Peach Tree, Prunus. One of the largest, early ripening, high-quality freestones with red-blushed yellow, fuzzless skin. Red Haven Peach has firm, yellow, sweet flesh. Red Haven Peach produces tons of peaches in mid-summer. In spring, its beautiful pink flowers cover the stems. This low, broad-crowned fruit tree grows 12 to 18 feet high and wide.
Being a freestone Peach, Red Haven Peach’s flesh is easily removed from the pit; sometimes, the pit pops right out. You can eat them fresh or use them in baking, freezing, and canning.
Plant Peach trees in moist, well-drained soils in full sun. Red Haven Peach Tree is disease-resistant to leaf spot and is self-pollinating.
