Wave after wave of the huge, vibrant flower clusters of the prettiest petals appear for months. This plant is very disease resistant and extremely long blooming. It is part of the Opening Act Series of Phlox, which is bred to bloom earlier and longer than others and for excellent disease resistance.
Ultrapink Phlox makes an unforgettable specimen. Use Opening Act Ultrapink Tall Garden Phlox in cottage, cutting, fragrant, and pollinator gardens. It looks beautiful in formal settings and makes an excellent container plant. It excels in the garden and as a vigorous and long-lived perennial.
Plant in full sun to light shade in soil amended with organic matter. Keep well watered, especially when plants are blooming and setting up buds. For best results, apply an all-purpose fertilizer following the manufacturer’s instructions. Sheer spent blooms off the plant for best rebloom.
