Papaver – Royal Wedding Oriental Poppy
Like the finest gowns at an Imperial wedding, Royal Wedding Poppy, Papaver, brings exquisite beauty to the garden. A long time favorite with huge 4-6″ white crepe paper like blooms that top wiry stems. Its huge flowers surround a large black center seed capsule surrounded by dark purple stamens. Plants go dormant after blooming.
Plant in well draining soil in full sun. Plants do not like to be moved, so choose you site wisely.
