Leucanthemum – Sweet Daisy Shelly Shasta Daisy
SKU: n/a.$13.99
A tiny adorable Daisy, Sweet Daisy Shelly, Leucanthemum, provides abundance of quarter-sized flowers on tight mounded foliage. Golden yellow centers are surrounded by small frilled white petals. This long-blooming and hardy plant will bring joy to the front of the garden or in containers.
Its delightful flowers are long-lasting in the garden and the vase. Don’t be surprised when you see beautiful butterflies and colorful moths visiting these treasures. It blends in beautifully with other perennials in containers, borders, mass plantings, cottage, cutting, and pollinator gardens. It makes an ideal choice to replace annuals in beds and large plantings, or anywhere you don’t want to plant year after year. And if that isn’t enough, it is deer and rabbit-resistant.
Shasta Daisies are easy to grow in average soil and full sun to part shade. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms. Shasta Daisies require good drainage. Shasta Daisies should be divided every two to three years. Discard declining, old growth.
