Pleniflora Japanese Kerria delights with masses of golden flowers on long stems all spring and into summer. Beautiful, arching, bright green branches of this deciduous shrub provide welcome winter interest. In spring, masses of brilliant, double-yellow flowers open, resembling small rose blossoms. Bright green summer foliage displays an attractive yellow color in fall. Excellent for use in mixed shrub borders. Large and quick-growing.

Plant in filtered light to part shade in soil that has been amended with compost. Apply a starter fertilizer or an all-purpose fertilizer when planting, we use Starter with Bio Tone Organic Fertilizer. Prune as needed – tolerates hard pruning like a champ. Since it flowers on old wood, prune immediately after flowering.
