Iris Immortality Repeat Blooming German Iris
You won’t believe your eyes when you witness Immortality Repeat Blooming Bearded Iris blooming its head off in late summer and fall. This goddess first brings its beautifully ruffled, white blossoms in late spring to early summer. Then like magic, the heavenly flowers reappear in late summer. A well-branched selection with many flowers. An award winner with a vigorous growth habit. Its flowers are spectacular cut.
Very easy to grow in full sun. German Iris prefers well-drained soil. Drought tolerant, deer and rabbit resistant.
Important growing tip: To encourage repeat bloom, keep your Iris well-watered and fertilized during summer. After the first flush of blooms remove spent flowers before the seeds set. This will direct the energy into beefing up your plant for the next round of blossoms.
