Hydrangea q. – Alice Oakleaf Hydrangea
SKU: n/a.A spectacular shrub, Alice is one of the showiest of the Oakleaf Hydrangeas, Hydrangea quercifolia. In summer, huge 10-14″ white flower panicles in the shape of cones appear. Their flowers dry on the shrub to a soft pink and may persist throughout winter. Its flowers are robust, remaining up even in heavy rain. Its large oakleaf-shaped, deeply lobed foliage turns brilliant burgundy in fall. A bold selection that works well as a handsome and stately accent for foundations and borders or as a magnificent hedge or screen. Plants grow 5-8′ tall and wide. Deciduous.
Plant in sun or shade. For best results, plant in rich soil and keep it well watered.
