Heuchera – Peach Flambe Coral Bells
Bring pops of color to the shade garden with Peach Flambe Coral Bells, Heuchera. Bright peach-colored leaves glow in spring, summer, and fall, before turning to plum in winter. Large, smooth leaves with flaming red infusions create drama in the garden. The color progression of Peach Flambe through the year provides multi-seasonal interest. It is a superb color companion to spring yellows, summer blues, and fall oranges. This medium-sized plant produces white flowers in spring on stems to 16″. Peach Flambe won the first place award at the Royal Dutch Flower Bulb Association show in 2008.
A garden designer’s favorite, Coral Bells’ superior mounded form and striking evergreen leaves make it ideal for containers and edging, or in tidy designs.
Plant in well-draining soil that has been amended with organic matter. Coral Bells prefer morning sun and afternoon shade.
