Gentiana andrewsii – Bottle Gentian
The true blue flowers on Bottle Gentian, Gentiana andrwsii never fully open giving the look of closed blue bottles. One of the last plants to bloom in the season expect to see flowers in September and October. This hard to find Missouri native plant is slow growing, but needs virtually no care once established.
