Mint Apple – Mentha
Apple Mint, Mentha, features the fruity aroma and taste of apple combined with classic mint. It creates stand-out summer salads, pasta dishes, and refreshing drinks. Use Apple Mint in cottage, cutting, fragrance, and sensory gardens. You’ll want to put a pot along a walkway or entryway so everyone can enjoy Apple Mint’s can’t-keep-hands-off leaves. Apple Mint matures to an attractive tall 3′ plant with lush large leaves.
Easy-to-grow mints delight and charm kids, cooks, and sensory lovers. Their simple flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other important pollinators, although leaving the flowers on the plants will lessen the desired aroma and taste of the leaves.
Growing instructions: Mints tend to spread rapidly and should be planted in confined areas. They work fantastic in pots and easily grow in sun to part shade. Water consistently. Plants should be cut back occasionally to create new growth.
