Echinacea – Prima Tiger Coneflower
SKU: n/a.Roaring into bloom with jumbo two-toned flowers, Prima Tiger Coneflower, Echinacea, takes center stage in the garden. Large, sweetly fragrant, daisy-like flowers bloom for months on petite, stout plants. Excellent for attracting pollinators.
An extremely short variety, Prima Tiger Coneflower only grows 12″ tall. It’s perfect for the front of the border and to edge walkways and gardens. It makes an eye-catching addition to perennial beds, cut flower, cottage and pollinator gardens. It’s an ideal plant to replace annuals for mass plantings. Why replant annuals year after year, when you can have the same brilliant show with Prima Tiger Coneflower?
Growing instructions: Plant in full sun, at least 6 hours of sun a day, in well-draining soil. Add organic matter to the soil when planting. For best flowering, keep well watered, especially when plants are setting up buds and blooming. Let plants dry out between watering. An occasional squirt of liquid fertilizer will improve flowering. Deadheading spent blossoms will encourage more flowers.
