Cornus florida – White Flowering Dogwood Tree
SKU: n/a.One of the showiest of all Missouri native trees, White Flowering Dogwood Tree, Cornus florida, brightens woodland settings with its beautiful large white, flower-like bracts. The small central flowers are beloved by pollinators. Attractive red ornamental fruit appears in summer which are adored by songbirds. Flowering Dogwood Tree grows 15-30′ tall and wide.
Use White Flowering Dogwood Tree in small shady areas, in woodlands, native or formal plantings. It attracts birds and butterflies, but deer leave it alone. Tolerant of clay soil and Black Walnut.
Plant in shade to part shade. Keep well watered until the tree gets established and during dry spells.
