Coreopsis – Ice Wine Tickseed
SKU: n/a.A refreshing treat, Ice Wine Tickseed, Coreopsis, delivers cool flowers of white and berry red. Multitudes of linen-white blossoms with pretty mulberry bases around gold centers appear from late spring through fall. You’ll adore having cut flowers for months as the flowers keep on coming all season long. It forms an attractive mound of highly disease-resistant, lacey, dark green foliage with a satin finish. A member of the outstanding Satin & Lace Coreopsis series. Deer resistant.
Absolutely superb in the garden, it is an excellent choice for those who want the blooming power and look of an annual yet don’t want to replant every year. Coreopsis are easy to grow, making them a good choice for beginners and seasoned gardeners.
Plant Coreopsis in full sun, at least 6 hours of good sun a day. Although not fussy about soil, they perform best in soil that has been amended with organic matter. Drought tolerant, but will bloom best with consistent moisture. Keep new plants well-watered until they are established. Cutting back spent flowers will encourage more blooms.
