Coreopsis – Golden Sphere Tickseed
Bring bright, golden-yellow blossoms to your containers and garden all season with Golden Sphere Tickseed, Coreopsis. Hundreds of delightful pompom flowers begin to appear in late spring and will continue into autumn. This little fella forms a tidy mound of dark green foliage that only grows 10″ tall. Deer resistant.
Golden Sphere Tickseed makes a fantastic choice for those who want the blooming power and look of an annual, yet don’t want to replant every year. It looks beautiful in perennial gardens, in mass plantings as an easy-to-care-for ground cover, or in containers alone or mixed with other plants. Coreopsis are easy to grow, making them a good choice for beginners and seasoned gardeners.
Plant Coreopsis in full sun, at least 6 hours of good sun a day. Although not fussy about soil, they perform best in soil that has been amended with organic matter. Coreopsis are tolerant of drought but will bloom best with consistent moisture. Keep new plants well-watered until they are established.
