Christmas Cactus
Beloved by generations of houseplant lovers, Christmas Cacti create delightful displays of bright-colored blossoms on dark winter days when little else is in bloom. Easy to grow and long-lived, they can easily be forced into blooming. Christmas Cacti are known to improve air quality by removing toxins.
Unlike desert cacti, Christmas Cacti are epiphytes native to tropical Central and South America. They grow in the same environment as orchids, at home growing in tree limbs with their roots in decaying leaves. They enjoy high humidity and consistent moisture. Flowing in a wide array of colors of pink, lilac, red, coral, salmon, and white.
As houseplants, replicating their home environment is the key to a happy Christmas Cactus. Plant in well-draining soil and keep well watered. They prefer bright, indirect light.
Pet and child safe.
