Bignonia – Tangerine Beauty Cross Vine
A stunning selection of the Missouri native vine Tangerine Beauty Cross Vine, Bignonia, will blow you away with its showy flowers. Spring into summer brings large, fragrant red-orange flowers that completely cover the vine. This vigorous semi-evergreen vine quickly covers arbors, trellises, and whatever it can find to climb upon. It is great for areas where quick coverage is needed. Nectar-filled blossoms are attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies.
Plant Cross Vine in sun to shade. Tolerant of dark shade but needs more sun for best flower production. Cross Vine prefers moist, well-drained to average soils. Can tolerate some flooding, but not boggy soils. Plants may die back to the ground in a harsh winter. Prune after flowering is over.
