Achillea – Milly Rock Rose Yarrow
SKU: n/a.$15.99
Too busy, don’t worry, Milly Rock Rose Yarrow, Achillea, does all the work for you. This carefree beauty’s profuse blooms of pretty rosy pink first appear in late spring to early summer, with flowering continuing well into fall. A favorite of butterflies, its flat flower heads make ideal landing pads for pollinators. The plant matures to a compact 10-12″ tight mound of fragrant, blue-green ferny foliage. Its petite habit makes it ideal for containers, edging, and smaller garden spaces. Milly Rock Rose Yarrow’s flowers make excellent cut and dried arrangements. Its ornamental foliage always looks good. A long-lived perennial, you only need to plant once for years of beautiful flowers.
Yarrow, Achillea, are easy-to-grow plants that thrive in high heat and humidity. They are also deer-resistant. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators adore their nectar. Yarrow makes beautiful cut flower bouquets.
Plant in full sun. Although tolerant of many soils and drought, for best results, plant in soil that has been amended with compost and given deep soakings.
