Acer – Mikawa Yatsubusa Japanese Maple
A fantastic Dwarf Japanese Maple, Acer Mikawa Yatsubusa makes a top choice for small gardens, landscapes, and containers. It produces fascinating layers of distinctive, pointy leaves that overlap each other. The overall effect is a masterpiece of nature and color. Its new leaves can be yellow to green, that mature to deep green. Fall brings brilliant scarlet red and shades of yellow foliage.
A favorite for bonsai, the bright green tightly branched overlapping leaves form a stunning small tree. It grows 4-8″ per year and matures to about 5′ tall and 4′ wide.
