Acer – Lion’s Head Shishigashira Japanese Maple
Bring remarkable foliage to your shade gardens and containers with Lion’s Head Japanese Maple, Acer Lions Head Shishigashira. Its crinkled, heavily curled, deep green foliage reminds many of a lion’s mane. It tolerates more sun than others. Its leaves turn golden yellow hued with red to orange in fall. Its upright habit, along with fantastic foliage, brings artistic beauty to the garden.
Great as a specimen in a small landscape or in a container. Good for bonsai.
