Viburnum Blue Muffin, Arrowwood Viburnum
Loaded with outstanding attributes, Blue Muffin Arrowwood Viburnum brings fabulous white flowers, shiny green foliage, and wonderful blue berries. Its beautiful show begins in spring with crisp white flowers that contrast beautifully with its glossy green leaves. Blue berries adorn this beauty in summer and fall. Being a selection of the North American native arrowwood viburnum makes it tough and easy to grow needing very low maintenance.
Use Blue Muffin Arrowwood Viburnum as a hedge, specimen plant, and in naturalized areas. More compact than other arrowwood viburnum, Blue Muffin is ideal for home landscapes. It grows well in full sun or partial shade. You and the butterflies, hummingbirds, birds, bees and other wildlife will delight in all that it brings. Grows 7′ tall and wide.
Plant in full sun to part shade in soil that has been amended with compost or other organic matter. Adding a starter fertilizer when planting will establish plant fast. Keep well watered until established, when plant is setting up buds and blooming, and during dry spells.
