Delight in Spring Grove Arborvitae’s, Thuja, soft green foliage that quickly forms into a tall pyramidal shape perfect for a privacy hedge or placed where a showy evergreen accent is needed. Growing about half the size of the popular Green Giant, Spring Grove is a perfect alternative for a smaller garden. Tough, fast growing and deer resistant. Grows 30′ tall, 10-12′ wide.
Spring Grove Arborvitae is evergreen, so you can enjoy the beautiful foliage all year round. It’s extremely disease-tolerant, is vigorous and very easy to grow. Spring Grove is not picky about the type of soil or its location in your garden. You can easily plant it in full sun, partial shade or shade. Even in shade, it retains its dark color!
Spring Grove Arborvitae makes a gorgeous specimen. It’s also fantastic used as a hedge, in perennial borders, and combined with other plants in a container. Spring Grove is a hybrid of Thuja plicata, or Western Red Cedar, which is reliably cold hardy, has rich green color all year, and is deer resistant.
