SKU: n/a.Dark slender leaves with a dramatic white stripe make the hard-to-find Syngonium wendlandii Black Velvet a treat for plant collectors and beginners alike. Deep, velvety greens leaves are sliced through with shocking white. Easy to grow, Black Velvet will develop a trailing habit and can be trained up a support or left to hang over the side of the pot.
o EASY
o Bright, indirect light
o Moist, well-drained soil; likes humidity
o Trailing habit
Plant in well-draining, good potting soil. Fertilize plants occasionally when they are actively growing, usually April through Aug, following the fertilizer manufacturer’s directions. Water sparingly but deeply, letting plants completely dry out in between watering. Overwatering and not letting plants dry out between watering will kill plants. Plants will require less water during fall and winter months. Plants prefer warm temperatures and should not be moved outdoors until night temperatures are at least 60 degrees or more. Keep in bright indirect light or under a grow light. Direct sunlight through a window may cause leaf scorch.
