Sweet Potato Vine Treasure Island Makatea is more than just a pretty face. Not only does this beauty create chartreuse heart shaped leaves that are treasured in mixed containers, it also produces delicious sweet potatoes that may be harvest at the end of the season.
This sweet potatoes has very light orange skin and white interiors making it great in Asian and Caribbean dishes. The large green leaves are also edible and are excellent mixed in with salads.
Plant in sun to part shade. Very shade tolerant.
