Sempervivum Mont Ventoux, Hens and Chicks
Mont Ventoux Sempervivum features mint green leaves with deep raspberry tips. Leaves form into a perfectly round rosette with. With time little baby rosettes appear around the main one which is why they are known as Hens and Chicks.
Hens and Chicks grows best in sunny well drained spots. Once were known as roof leeks as they were planted on roofs and their leaves were eaten in winter.
