Its luxurious violet-blue blossoms are highlighted with fascinating purple calyxes (sepals). The flowers form a perfectly rounded, beautiful dense mound. Plant in full sun to light shade and well-drained soil. Although drought tolerant, for best blooming keep consistently watered. Removing spent flowers will encourage more blooms. A hard shear in late summer will rejuvenate plants for a fresh fall bloom.
