Its beautiful blossoms just keep coming and coming
A blooming powerhouse, Violet Profusion Sage, Salvia, prolific blooms just keep coming and coming all summer. Its luxurious violet-blue blossoms are highlighted with fascinating purple calyxes (sepals). The flowers form a perfectly rounded, beautiful dense mound. Its compact size makes it ideal in a multitude of situations, from large beds to edging. A long-lived perennial that is very easy to grow. Deer and rabbit resistant. Fragrant foliage. Excellent for cutting.
A fantastic plant for flower beds, edging, containers, cutting, cottage, and pollinator gardens. Spectacular in mass plantings and for replacing annuals in large beds. Violet Profusion Sage looks great edging walkways and gardens. Being long-lived and a profuse bloomer makes it an ideal choice in areas you don’t want to replant year after year.
Plant in full sun to light shade and well-drained soil. Although drought tolerant, for best blooming keep consistently watered. Removing spent flowers will encourage more blooms. A hard shear in late summer will rejuvenate plants for a fresh fall bloom.
