Salvia Purple & Bloom – Anise Scented Sage
Prepare to be inundated with hummingbirds, butterflies and other pollinators with Purple & Bloom Anise Scented Sage, Salvia. Large, tubular purple flowers with deep black bracts bloom from spring to frost. Hummingbirds can’t stay away from these nectar-filled flowers. This larger annual is perfect in the center of large mixed container, in the back of sunny garden. Grows about 3′ tall and wide in one season!
Plant in full sun. Drought tolerant once established, but for best flower production keep well watered and fertilized.
Sun annual, occasionally will overwinter in mild winters.
