Hill Hardy Rosemary has proven hardy here in the St Louis area. A robust selection with light blue flowers and intensely fragrant, deep green foliage, it adds incredible flavor to many dishes. Use Hill Hardy Rosemary in stews and soups, and on meat and vegetables. The plant matures to 3′ tall and wide. An excellent choice for the year-round kitchen garden. Deer and rabbit resistant. Hardy through zone 6. Also known as Madeline Hill Rosemary.
Plant in full sun in well-draining soil. Poor draining winter soils will prove fatal. For best performance protect from harsh winter winds. Shape lightly in spring.
