Large shockingly purple flower clusters bloom on Dandy Man Rhododendron in Spring. Large dark green oblong leaves help set off the bright flowers.
Rhododendrons grow in well drained soils. They are best planted on slopes in northern or eastern exposures or in dappled shade. Rhododendrons require acidic soils to thrive. Fertilize with an Azalea or Holly fertilizer to help lower pH.
