Phlox Rose Bouquet
Here is something really special. We’ve been amazed by Rose Bouquet Phlox’s continual blooming of its sweet rose pink blossoms. A new kind of Phlox, Rose Bouquet brings all the best qualities of several wild species native to the eastern United States. Their delightful large blossoms of pink, white, or even bicolor appear for months from mid spring through summer, with even some late season bloom. Some experts believe it could be the longest blooming Phlox. Showing extreme vigor, Rose Bouquet also features top disease resistance. It’s never bothered by powdery mildew, even in the most humid summers, and its attractive glossy foliage always looks pretty.
Rose Bouquet Phlox blends beautifully with other perennials in the perennial border, mass plantings, edging, or containers. Its fragrant flowers attract butterflies, bees, and other important pollinators including the entertaining “hummingbird” sphinx moths. A wonderful cut flower, you’ll enjoy months of sweetly-scented bouquets. Plants mature to 16″ tall and wide. Although tolerant of drought, plants prefer moist soil.
Plant in full sun to light shade in soil that has been amended with compost or other organic matter. Keep well watered, especially when plants are blooming and setting up buds. For best results apply an all-purpose fertilizer following manufacturer’s instructions.
