Oenothera – Twilight Evening Primrose

A striking form of Showy Evening Primrose, Oenothera berlandierii, Twilight features large, clear pink flowers and foliage with a distinctive purple-bronze central marking. The large cup-shaped pink flowers with yellow centers appear throughout the summer in large quantities. In spring, its new growth has a deep plum color. The low-growing, mounded plant grows 8-12″ tall and 18-24″ wide. It is a vigorous spreading ground cover. Once established, it is heat and drought tolerant. It attracts butterflies, pollinator bees, and hummingbirds and is deer resistant.
Use Twilight Showy Evening Primrose in perennial beds, containers, and cottage gardens. Easy to grow.
Plant in full sun to part shade. Grows in most soils.
