Blue Cardinal Flower is easy to grow in rich, moist soil in full sun to part shade. In St. Louis, it prefers a part shade site. Tolerant of deep shade. Deer resistant.
A good choice for rain gardens, native perennial and woodland gardens, or in naturalized plantings.
