Knautia Thunder and Lightning
A truly striking plant! ‘Thunder and Lightning’ Knautia brightens the garden with its light green leaves edged in creamy yellow to white. Rich purplish pincushion flowers appear above the foliage for months, from early summer into fall. Its serrated leaf shapes create striking lightning bolt patterns.
Excellent for beds and containers. Nice cut flower. Knautia prefers full sun to light shade and well drained soil.
Plant in full sun. For best blooming keep well watered when plant is setting up buds and blooming. Plant benefits from good soakings during dry spells.
