Iris pallida – Albo Variegata Sweet Iris
SKU: n/a.A popular Iris, Sweet Iris, Iris pallida Albo Variegata, delights us with sweetly fragrant, pale lavender blue flowers with yellow throats. The flowers appear high above the foliage on tall scapes. Its exceptional sword-like leaf blades emerge in spring with creamy yellow margins that fade to ivory as the season progresses.
Plants prefer full sun but are tolerant of partial shade. Drought tolerant once established. This Iris looks great in containers. Very reliable and disease resistant. Also known as Iris pallida Argentea Variegata.
Plant in full sun in well-draining soil. Add compost or other organic matter when planting.
