Heucherella – Red Rover Foamy Bell
Red Rover Foamy Bells, Heucherella, brings intense red leaves and incredibly lobed foliage. In spring the young leaves are coppery red. They mature to gorgeous 5″ deeply lobed bright red with burgundy red centers. Their uniquely shaped leaves bring a fascinating element to gardens and containers. As the summer moves on the leaves take on an olive green cast. Tall 28-34″ burgundy rose stems hold creamy white flowers well above the foliage. Plants form low growing 8″ tall, 16-20″ wide plants of luscious evergreen foliage.
A garden designer’s favorite, Foamy Bells’ superior mounded form and striking evergreen leaves make them ideal for containers and edging, or for neat and tidy designs. Foamy Bells prefer morning sun and afternoon shade.
Plant in part shade in well-draining soil.
