Geranium sanguineum – Max Frei Bloody Cranesbill
Max Frei Geranium, Bloody Cransebill is an easy-care, long-lived perennial that needs almost no maintenance once established. Striking magenta purple flowers appear early with some rebloom through the summer months. Its deeply cut foliage turns rich crimson in fall.
Easy to grow in sun or shade. It makes an excellent evergreen ground cover as it is not fussy about soil. Very heat and drought tolerant and never bothered by rabbits or deer. Prune plants back in early spring. Also known as Bloody Cranesbill and Hardy Geranium.
Plant in full sun to part shade in well-draining soil.
