Gaura Sisikiyou – Whirling Butterflies
Siskiyou Pink Gaura brings delicate pink flower clusters that float over the plants like fluttering butterflies, hence its other common name, Whirling Butterflies. Siskiyou Pink Gaura flowers begin with deep maroon buds that open to rose pink flowers.
Gaura prefers rich, well-drained soil and sun to part shade. Shearing plants back half way after each flush of blooms will keep the blossoms coming from late spring until frost.
Plant in full sun in well-draining soil.
