Easy and showy Fothergilla Blue Mist is a changing wonder of a shrub, looking different all year long. Before leaves in emerge in spring fragrant bottle brush shaped flowers appear in masses. Once flowering ends powder blue foliage emerges, looking great all summer. Once fall appear this plant changes again into a bright golden yellow ball. This dwarf shrub only grows 2-3′ tall and wide, fitting well into many landscape scenarios.
Plant Fothergilla in full sun to part shade locations in moist well-drained soils. Performs best in morning sun and afternoon shade.
