Festuca Blue Whiskers Blue Fescue Grass
A much improved variety, compared to others Blue Whiskers Blue Fescue, Festuca glauca, is taller, more vigorous, with longer leaves and a brighter blue foliage color. Narrow powder blue blades create perfect round mounds. Its neat and tidy habit make it perfect for edging, as a ground cover or in containers. It’s not fussy about soil and tolerates hot, dry conditions.
Yellow-green flowers appear above the clump on tall 18-22″ flower stems. The flowers age to an attractive tan as the season progresses.
Plant in full sun.
