Eupatorium – Little Joe, Joe-Pye Weed
A dwarf version of the beloved Joe-Pye Weed, Eupatorium, ‘Little Joe’ it is just like its giant cousin but only 36-48″ tall. Large flower clusters of deep lilac on deep purple stems appear in mid to late summer and fall. A favorite of butterflies and deer resistant. Its attractive seeds heads offer winter interest. All parts of this plant are poisonous if ingested.
Use ‘Little Joe’ Joe-Pye Weed in perennial borders, cutting and pollinator gardens, and naturalized areas. A favorite of butterflies, bees and other important pollinators.
Plant in full sun in well draining soil.
