Eryngium – Blue Glitter Sea Holly
For a plant that makes gorgeous statement, even in your hottest, driest spots, try Blue Glitter Sea Holly, Eryngium. A superior hybrid, its intensely-iridescent blue flowers appear all summer. The flowers are produced on tall candelabra-branched stems, high above its foliage.
Adored by florists and gardeners for its unique spiny steel blue flowers, Blue Glitter is a fascinating addition to gardens and flower arrangements. Flowers may be used in fresh or dried in arrangements. It works fantastic with other sun loving perennials including Yarrow, Coreopsis, and Black Eyed Susans.

Plant in full sun in well-draining soil. Can be grow in dry, poor soils as long it drains well. It’s long tap root makes it drought tolerant, but difficult to move.
