Strawberry and Cream Coneflower, Echinacea, brings flamboyant raspberry and white pompom flowers all season. A fabulous two tone, its beautiful flowers are held high on strong stems. The stunning blossoms first appear in early summer and continue into fall. A fantastic addition to the outstanding Cone-fections series of Echinacea.
Use Strawberry and Cream Coneflower in flower beds and patio containers. It brings all the fascinating pollinators, and during late fall to winter the seed heads serve as food for birds. Its unique blossoms and strong stems create unforgettable arrangements and bouquets.
Growing instructions: Plant in full sun, at least 6 hours of sun a day, in well-draining soil. Add organic matter to soil when planting. For best flowering, keep well watered, especially when plants are setting up bloom and blooming. Let plants dry out between watering. An occasional squirt of liquid fertilizer will improve flowering. Deadheading spent blossoms will encourage more flowers.
