$15.99
Be amazed by the shockingly orange color of Coneflower Kismet Intense Orange, Echinacea. Beginning in early summer highly saturated orange petals surround deep orange cones. As the flowers mature the petals slowly fade to a mango color, creating a rainbow of orange on one plant.
Abundant flowers are held high on sturdy stems, keeping the flowers facing the sun (or their admirers’ faces’). A top choice for cut flowers.
Growing instructions: Plant in full sun, at least 6 hours of sun a day, in well-draining soil. Add organic matter to soil when planting. For best flowering, keep well watered, especially when plants are setting up bloom and blooming. Let plants dry out between watering. An occasional squirt of liquid fertilizer will improve flowering. Deadheading spent blossoms will encourage more flowers.
