Dryopteris filix-mas Robust Buckler Fern
A vigorous western U.S. native with long, Buckler Fern, Dryopteris Robust, brings rich texture and color to the shade garden with its leathery emerald-green fronds. Fronds are upright and stately, and retain their foliage well in cold weather. Matures to attractive tall mounds.
Prefers rich, moist, well-drained soil in shady to part shade locations. Drought tolerant once established.
