Crapemyrtle Peppermint Mocha, Lagerstroemia
Extremely floriferous, Peppermint Mocha Crapemyrtle, Lagerstroemia produces loads of intense rosy pink blossoms. This petite shrub fits perfectly in mixed perennial gardens or can be used as a small hedge. For best size and form cut back all the way to ground in spring.
Crapemyrtles are easy to grow shrubs that thrive in sunny hot spots. Expect to see winter die-back most years in St. Louis, sometimes all the way to ground. Late to wake up, sometimes Crapemyrtles stay sleeping until mid-May.
