Chamaecyparis Golden Mop False Cypress
$49.99
A shaggy golden mound, Golden Mop False Cypress, Chamaecypars delights in the garden with its thread leaf evergreen foliage. Bright golden yellow whipcord foliage adds lots of movement to the garden. This dwarf mounded to slightly pyramidal shape grows only 2-3′ tall and wide after 10 years, much smaller and slower growing than traditional varieties. Will eventually mature to about 5′ tall and wide, but does respond well to pruning. Golden Mop delights as an accent plant, planted in mass for a delightful golden effect or used as a small hedge.
Plant False Cypress in full to part sun locations in moist well drained soils.
