Caryopteris – Sunshine Blue II Bluebeard Shrub
A beautiful small shrub, ‘Sunshine Blue II’ Bluebeard has beautiful golden foliage all season long. In late summer clusters of small blue flowers appear. Expect to see lots of bees buzzing around these delectable blossoms. Perfect for accents, small hedges or used in mixed perennial gardens.
Use Bluebeard in perennial gardens, to line walkways, in pollinator gardens and containers. Bluebeards are short-lived shrubs that perform in dry, poor soils in full sun. Living usually about 3 years in total, what they lack in longevity they make up for in flower power. Shear down to the ground in winter or spring to give your Bluebeard the best form. Deer, drought and rabbit resistant.
Plant in full sun.
