Aster Wood’s Light Blue
Adored for their beautiful yellow-centered daisies in pretty light blue, Wood’s Light Blue Aster also has an excellent form that stays neat all year. In late summer and fall every square inch of the foliage is covered in blossoms. Wood’s Light Blue Aster grows 12-16″ tall.
Asters are beautiful in the perennial, cut flower, cottage, and pollinator garden. They boast excellent cut flower quality. -Butterflies and other important pollinators delight in their sweet nectar.
Asters perform best in full sun, and grow fine in average soil, but for best results add a shovelful or two of compost and a bit of slow release fertilizer when planting. Although drought tolerant, for best results keep well watered, especially when plants are setting up buds and blooming.
