Agapanthus Galaxy Blue Lily of the Nile
Usually Agapanthus are grown as tropical annuals in St. Louis, but not anymore! We are thrilled to introduce Galaxy Blue Lily of the Nile, Agapanthus. You can now have the iconic blue flowers year after year with only planting once. Showy blue 4″ flowers are born on tall stems over grass green foliage from midsummer into fall.
This variety has overwintered in very cold winters in Michigan for over 7 years. It also reblooms! You can expect flowers all they way into September.
Lily of the Nile is fantastic in pots and the garden and will take center stage when in flower.
Plant in full sun. If planted in a container, the container should be moved into a protected area for the winter, an unheated garage or shed is ideal.
6″ pot
Offered in-house and online. Subject to availability.
