Petunia Queen of Hearts

Hold on to your heart, it’s about to burst with joy and wonder

When you first view Queen of Hearts Petunias don’t be surprised when your jaw drops and you feel your eyes getting as large as they can. You’re whole being will want to take in every bit of this gem’s splendor. Each remarkable flower is kissed with yellow, and marked with perfectly formed valentine red hearts. The plants exhibit unbelievable vigor, producing an abundance of large, colorful flowers. At times the precious flowers will completely smother the entire plant.

Can this be a real plant??? It is! Take a look at the attached images taken at the Ohio State University Annual Test Gardens. As you can see, they deserve to be named with a royal moniker. Just a quick shout out to the hardworking hybridizers who spent countless hours creating these crown jewels.

Fantastic in pots, baskets, mixed containers or as a weed smothering ground cover. Plants prefer full sun, and consistent water and fertilizer.
